If you've been considering a trip around Ohio (or maybe if this post convinces you to plan one!), I've rounded up some of the best places to stay around the state that aren't hotels. We have beautiful state parks, the best amusement park in the world (Cedar Point), and cool cities with great food and beer scenes like Cleveland and Columbus and Cincinnati.
A bit further south, Cuyahoga Valley National Park is severely underrated. Up north, we have miles of Lake Erie coastline. But, as someone who has spent basically her whole life living in Ohio, I'm here to tell you that this state is way cooler than most people give it credit for.
